What magical methods of TF have you failed at?

What what ways have you tried to TF, but failed? What kinds of magic do you know are completely false?

I'm just trying to avoid duplication of effort here, not trying to embarrass anybody, so don't worry about what people will think of your failures.

While this thread won't get us closer to TF in any tangible way, it will mean that there won't be quite so much wasted effort, expecialy in this particular method of magic, which is sure to be riddled with dead ends and false information.

There was this website with hypnotic .mp3 files which supposedly will convince you into everything the voice in the file says... Some people say they get "fantom parts". I tried it and i think its all a bunch of baloney, or maybe i just have a thick head... The most successful so far has been attempts at lucid dreaming, but those dont happen very often, plus i find it difficult to focus on the TF itself to get a "clear enough image of myself in my head" that i can maintain for long enough. It's about tricking your brain right, that's probably as close to a TF as i'd ever get...

I've been to all these sites and did my fair share of research... But Lucid Dreaming is something you just can't do all the time. It's still the best i got so far, but i need something more consistent. And someone please use their admin powers and "ka-Ban!" that guy

Perhaps the member registration should be a bit more complicated so that the admins can make sure it's a real person... Like more frequent IP checks and email verification.
