Corydon and Runestone

Corydon and the Island of Monsters

a bunch of monsters of mixed demographics, some of whom got to be
monsters by a curse(Medusa)
finish off 10,000 Greek schoolboy heroes

Runestone(Book 1 in the Viking Magic series)
a baby born of a family of witches and warlocks gets switched
with a baby from a farm family.

Odo doesn't physically change but summons a magic body his soul/mind
inhabits whilst he's out his human form.

Re: Corydon and Runestone

These are the synopses of some books you've read? Did you like them?

Re: Corydon and Runestone

Corydon has the more complex and fun plot but Runestone has a potentially
powerful transformation method for plot development.

Eg
Lets say I'm magical and you're not.

To shapeshift I'd lay my human body in some safe spot in a protective
circle.I'd go into a trance and summon a magical form,lets say a
grey goose. My spirit would enter that magical body and I could do
goose things.However,since its a magical body,you couldn't see me
honk, flap my wings, head butt you and maybe carry a wand in my beak.

What you would see is that wand floating mysteriously up and down in
the air,as well as blows from a invisible entity you couldn't see or hear.
"Return of the Invisible Goose" kinda stuff.
