Hello and a little about myself

First off I want to say "Wow!" I just had no idea a community like this even existed. I spent soo many years with this fetish and the various therapists I encountered over the years never even mentioned such a thing as a transformation fetish. To know that I'm not alone is just a wonderful feeling.

I can remember the exact moment I became aware of my fetish. I was 9 and watching the Plastic Man Comedy-Adventure Show for the first time. It was the episode where a super-villian creates a giant plant monster and Plas is fighting it and the creature bats him away and Plas becomes a ball. Then later he shapes himself into a waterhose. I was irresistably drawn to the show from then on. I began looking for anything to do with transformation; Mr. Fantastic, Mystique, Molecular, Clayface, Rubberband Man.

Any kind of non-violent transformation attracts me, but I have a preference for the flowing type usually seen in cartoons into inannimate objects (the episodes of Static Shock with Rubberband Man drive me into orbit).

I have to say, in reference to some of the other posts, in any transformation I'd want to retain my mind. Though consciously surrendering to any impulses inate to the form would be enjoyable.

Well, I've rambled on enough. I just wanted to say "Hi!" and how glad I am to have found the TF community.

Oh! I wanted to ask if anyone could point me to any spots on the webring which might be more focused towards inannimate transformations.

Welcome to TFCentral. I've been into TF for as long as I can remember. I was extemely relieved when I discovered that other people like TF as well, I thought I was retarted... hehe. Unfortunatly, I don't know many inannimate websites. I know that kanada.tfcentral.com has a Inannimate section, but that's all I really know about, I haven't been to too many inannimate TF Sites. Well, anyway, welcome.

Re: Hello and a little about myself

I too welcome you to TFC, followed with a warm, welcome *meow*
Like most users here, I too have ventured into the TF wave for a while. I think it started when I was still a young kid. I think I blame (or the influence was) Willow and the Witches with the Pig and Mouse TF's. For some strange reason that's where it began. My whole notion for cat TF became my #1 favored (desired) TF from four years to now.
I had been in the shadows for a long time since then, only (I think the lingo is stalking or something) reading and viewing other peoples thoughts and works. It wasn't until after summer did I decide to set up and voice myself for once.
Hope to see you around. Once again, welcome

Hey Elastic Girl, if you like stretchy TFs, check out my story Living Lycra, which is in Rubberbando's Yahoo Group zentai_transformation, as well as on the Legacy of Timeless Beauty page. After the protagonists are melded with their zentai suits, the can stretch themselves in every which way, and can deflate themselves. I haven't thought of having them changed into objects, but I figured they'd have to remain in humanoid form.

Say, have you ever thought about Odo from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Reed "Mr. Fantastic" Richards from the Fantastic Four or Elasti-Girl (Mr. Incredible's wife) from the Incredibles as possible role models, too?

Yes, I read your story and really liked it.

Odo is one of my favourite shapeshifters.

I LOVE the Incredibles (and not just because of Elasti-Girl ). My favourite scenes are where she becomes the raft and when she is stretched through all those hallways and doors. And the scene where she flattens herself against the wall to avoid being hit by the tramcar is funny!
