| Custom avatars. I was just wondering, how does one go about getting one? I've just made a cute vector-based version of my current avatar. If it's something that can't be done for whatever reason, I don't mind. |

| Re: Custom avatars. You mean put up an avatar you created? I believe you have to make sure your creation is about 50X50 or 100X100 when you save it (and must be at least a JPEG). Go to your member account (just click on your account name or avatar wherever it is popping up) and there should be a link on the left side that asks about adding your avatar. EDIT-------- Actually......that was for picture profile. I forgot that I had had problems loading a custom avatar myself. Sorry.

| Re: Custom avatars. Yeah, I looked through the FAQ, and apparently its something the admin allows you to do. |

| Re: Custom avatars. Or, in this case dosn't allow you to do. It could be because allowing people to upload thier own images can be difficult to arrange without a security risk. It would be nice, however, if remote avatars could be enabled. I wouldn't expect any changes though, whatever reason there was for disabling these things probably still applies. |

| Re: Custom avatars. Well yes, it is rather obvious you can't upload them. However, I do find it odd you can still have your own profile picture. |

| Re: Custom avatars. I'd love a custom avatar. I am more than an eye, and this fox form? Pfffft, not me. Although I do love to bite, bite and dig and dig. Scotty |

| Re: Custom avatars. I got a sweet avatar I use on deviantART. It's a mild photomanip, nothing fancy, done by a brazilian friend of mine. Patricia Ladyroll, she likes my work, and I like hers. She actually does a lot of art work for this magazine called Red Guara, which I think is the name for the maned wolf in portuguese. But yeah, she sized it down and everything. It's pretty much the real life version of >:3
